The Government of Odisha is committed to deliver citizen-centric governance by empowering the voices and interests of all strata at the local, district and state level. The conceptualization of the 5T Action Plan has enabled citizens to actively participate in the governance process. Various departments of government have been adopting 5Ts to involve citizens in a wide range of policy-making activities, including the determination of levels of service and the acceptability of the programmes in order to build public support, and encourage a sense of cohesiveness within the community.
Use of technology by all departments at different levels is one of the major steps towards bottom-up approach of governance where services are only a click away. They are able to share their grievances, concerns, ideas and appreciations for various people-centric programmes, services and schemes. Teamwork, Transparency, Technology and Timely delivery is gradually bringing a Transformation in the public service delivery system and creating a positive impact on the socio-economic lives of people of Odisha.
